Creative Place Consulting helped develop and scale a new non-profit in partnership with the University of Detroit Mercy and Kresge Foundation.

The mission of Live6 Alliance is to enhance quality of life and economic opportunity in Northwest Detroit. Live6 is a one-stop shop for authentic, inclusive neighborhood revitalization with a focus on the Livernois and McNichols commercial corridors. The organization serves a central convener and coordinator between the community, institutions and key stakeholders that contribute to positive change in the community.

• Served as a founding board member and fractional CEO.

• Led organizational development, fundraising and strategy for the non-profit.

• Secured a three-year, $2.2M grant from the Kresge Foundation for operations and implementation of major projects and programs.

  Led staffing, budgeting, and program design for the organization.

• Managed a $1M construction project for development of the “HomeBase,” which serves as a collaborative workspace and headquarters for the organization.
